             Illegal Raves

             Illegal raves are a strain on society; they break down communities and cause residents and members of
             the public harassment, alarm and distress due to noise nuisance and the amount of individuals that conn

             into the area. These raves are usually poorly run and cause damage not only to the buildings being used
             but to the enviromueut. The properties being used for such events are commonly disused buildings;
             tire organisers have no idea as to whether these buildings are safe. Recently there have been a number of

             deaths at raves; the most recent was a young 15 year old male who died at a Rave in Croydon which was
             believed to be attended by around 2000 revellers. Raves are notorious for drugs being present. These

             illegal events have a huge impact on Police. Officers are called to the venues and also there are a huge
              number of calls from members of the public and residents complaining. Tills type of illegal event cannot
              be tolerated and action must be taken to disrupt these events and if a court order is not granted then
              Simon CORDELL is free to continue to organise such events. Simon CORDELL has openly admitted to

              officers that he runs such events and has even bragged about it to Police.
